lil bull 04

hahaha i see some monty python fans. what a great movie.

anyway I am kind of on a quest. to live everyday and be my best. I want to live a better life in 4 ways: physically, mentally, religiously, and socially. I challenge all of you to do the same.

Physically I want to be in the best shape of my life.
Mentally I always want to be prepared for the tasks God has given me to do in this life and to do them the best I'm able.

Religiously or Spiritually I long to be closer to God. I want to try harder to live my faith in everything I think, say, and do.

Socially I want to be able to be as accepting of others as Jesus was to each of us. Remember how Jesus healed the lame and even talked with St. Matthew who was a tax collector. Tax collectors seemed to be evil rotten and crooked, and then Jesus even offered forgivesness to the theif on the cross next to him. What kind of Love is that! Amazing!
big nasty teeth.

(its still across. Technically, I shouldn't even be talking this much to you. I never, never cross the Mississippi)

peace...
Pedro,
Now be honest. You have crossed the Mississippi -- five times, isn't that right? And you were even considering visiting someplace in St. Louis recently, weren't you? I'm guessing if the reason to cross were good enough, you could be persuaded to go.

:P

(What are you gonna do, bleed on me?)

I'm not dead yet

Yeah, well you soon will be!

(St. Louis style, are you kiddin' me? And Sojourner, it was 4 times, not five, and I was not recently considering going to St. Louis. Sheesh, the nasty rumours around here! :P )

peace...

I didn't know we had a king. I thought we were an autonomous collective.

(Pedro, remember you were thinking about going to visit some seminary over there -- I think it was in St. Louis, but I may be mistaken on that bit of trivia. You at least considered it, if not seriously. And by recently I mean within the last 18 months. And congratulations on making it over 1,000 posts. I'm proud of you.)

Its just a flesh wound!

(Oh, there was an abbey that I had vaguely considered looking at, until I saw their web page. Monks shouldn't live in ugly buildings, but what do you expect from West of the Mississippi? Oh, and WillGuy? This Chicago boy wouldn't break half a sweat knockin' the tar out of ya! lol!) (and that goes double for Canada, GC!)

peace...

My husband is from the Chicago-ish area... Why didn't you say so, PedroX?

And of course, my quote should be that it ISN'T my nose, it's a false one...
