Katiebobatie94
So I know its kind of far off, but the VD for Daughters of St Paul asked me last week if I would be attending the Holy Week Retreat...........here's the thing though. That'll be the first Easter without my mom and her birthday falls during the retreat. The VD and a few other sisters are aware of it, and I know I can talk to them if I need to; at the same time I feel like I should be home with my dad and my sister for all of the "firsts" without my mom (i.e. the first Easter, the first Christmas, etc....) What should I do? My dad said it doesn't matter whether or not I go, but my sister said she would be pretty angry.........I'm so torn
i<3franciscans
Katie, Easter is so far away. Take time to pray about it. Jesus will show you where he wants you. Trust in His mercy and LOVE. <3 fran
cmaD2006
I agree. Pray about it, then decide what is right for you. Besides, it may be a wonderful blessing to be on retreat, just as it would be a wonderful blessing to be with family at that time.
TheresaThoma
Katie it is a long way off, you don't need to make a decision right this instant, pray and trust.
