MitchWitts
I'll be brief I guess, So in Hebrews 9:22 the author says that Sins can only be forgiven by blood sacrifice. I've been tiring to rap my brain around it but I can't reconcile it with the Babylonian captivity. How were the Jews given grace between the first and second temples if there were no sacrifices? And what for Niveah? God forgave them and they didn't offer animal sacrifices. I'd love some help with this, Pax Christi -Mitch
Theoketos
I will think more about this, but that blood which Hebrews refers to is Jesus'. Jesus' blood, we believe, was able to save Mary before her birth or His death.
