Graciela Posted November 24, 2015 Share Posted November 24, 2015 They remain contemplative but are permitted to have guests come in to their monastery for "convivencios" and to share in their prayer. Given what others have said about the turn of Spanish culture to more secularism and atheism, it seems to me that this change, while they still cling very much to the Teresian Carmelite charism, is much needed and good for sharing the faith.
