tinytherese 1,146 Posted April 3 Report Share Posted April 3 The other day I was looking up Holy Week mass times and learned that one priest at my parish and our sister parish resigned. There have been allegations that he was threatening and causing a hostile work environment. The website says that his resignation doesn't mean that these allegations are true or that he's admitting guilt, just that it's best for him to resign while the investigation occurs. In the meantime, our other priest is still there taking on twice as much responsibility until another is assigned to help him. Please pray that the investigation is handled properly and that the other parish members respond well. People will be tempted to gossip despite Church authorities discouraging that.
