Are the Purgatory - Hell realms merely the basement levels of "Heaven?"

Let's assume that our physical lives from our birth until our death are the Ground Floor Level of Heaven and let's play with the idea that perhaps those negative near death experience accounts help us to understand

that the Purgatory - Hell realms are merely eternal spiritual beings attempting to HIDE from their Creator, [The Being of Light of near death experience fame who I believe is Messiah Yeshua - Jesus in His Resurrected Body] .....

I suppose that I should mention that the Roman Catholic Church got the idea of "Purgatory" from Jewish writers and thinkers.... [and near death experiencers who were writing or recounting their testimonies for centuries and millennia]!

Genesis 3:

7 And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.

8 And they heard the voice of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God amongst the trees of the garden.

9 And the Lord God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou?

10 And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.

11 And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?

.....
I've been studying near death experience accounts rather obsessively since 1990 and to my thinking it sure seems like we humans both on Ground Floor.... this human life.... or at whatever place we choose to be in the Afterlife.... we are basically playing a game of Hide and Seek with our Creator.... [the Being of Light of near death experience fame who both Howard Storm and I believe is Messiah Yeshua - Jesus]!!!

[Near death experiencer and former Atheist Howard Storm]: ...." 3. A Rescue from Hell by Jesus Christ
Now I didn’t know if I was even in the world. But I did know that I was here. I was real, all my senses worked too painfully well. I didn’t know how I had arrived here. There was no direction to follow even if I had been physically able to move. The agony that I had suffered during the day was nothing compared to what I was feeling now. I knew then that this was the absolute end of my existence, and it was more horrible than anything I could possibly have imagined.

......

The light conveyed to me that it loved me in a way that I can’t begin to express. It loved me in a way that I had never known that love could possibly be. He was a concentrated field of energy, radiant in splendor indescribable, except to say goodness and love. This was more loving than one can imagine. I knew that this radiant being was powerful. It was making me feel so good all over. I could feel its light on me – like very gentle hands around me. And I could feel it holding me. But it was loving me with overwhelming power. After what I had been through, to be completely known, accepted, and intensely loved by this Being of Light surpassed anything I had known or could have imagined. I began to cry and the tears kept coming and coming. And we, I and this light, went up and out of there.

We started going faster and faster, out of the darkness. Embraced by the light, feeling wonderful and crying, I saw off in the distance something that looked like the picture of a galaxy, except that it was larger and there were more stars than I had seen on Earth. There was a great center of brilliance. In the center there was an enormously bright concentration. Outside the center countless millions of spheres of light were flying about entering and leaving what was a great being-ness at the center. It was off in the distance. Then I … I didn’t say it, I thought it. I said, “Put me back.”

What I meant by telling the light to put me back, was to put me back into the pit. I was so ashamed of who I was, and what I had been all of my life, that all I wanted to do was hide in the darkness. I didn’t want to go toward the light anymore – I did; yet I didn’t. How many times in my life had I denied and scoffed at the reality before me, and how many thousands of times had I used it as a curse. What incredible intellectual arrogance to use the name as an insult. I was afraid to go closer. I was also aware that the incredible intensity of the emanations might disintegrate what I still experienced as my intact physical body. The being who was supporting me, my friend, was aware of my fear and reluctance and shame. For the first time he spoke to my mind in a male voice and told me that if I was uncomfortable we didn’t have to go closer. So we stopped where we were, still countless miles away from the Great being. For the first time, my friend, and I will refer to him in that context hereafter, said to me, “You belong here.”

(Note: Howard believes his friend was Jesus.)

... "Jesus said that this unbelieving world is not going to accept you, but He said, “Do not fear, for I have overcome the world.” What is it that is bothering you today? You might not think that you have access to the Father, but it has been provided to you. You might think that you cannot just go to the Father and ask Him for something. The first thing you should ask the Father is to open your eyes. Your relationship with God is going to drive out fear. You have to grasp that God is not limiting you. He has never limited you. The Holy Spirit came on the Day of Pentecost and took the ceiling off. You can go as high and as far as you want.

If you would believe, God would give you the ability to completely pay off our national debt. God has a way of paying off our debt in our country. There is a way to do it. God knows that secret. But instead of focusing on our country, what about focusing on your bills? What does the Holy Spirit want to tell you by pulling back a veil that will cause you to be debt-free within the year? That will happen if you believe. The Holy Spirit has so much more for you, but you have limited Him. Because you have limited Him, He can’t speak to you. Because of that, people that are prophetic can’t come to you and confirm what God has said because you won’t hear it.

You can trust God. Relationships that you are having trouble with can be resolved tomorrow morning. If you accept what God is saying, the Spirit of God will enforce a blessing in your life to the point where you will see your family members and friends start to respond. The concept of Purgatory is interesting to me.......

Militant Atheist Mr. Bryan Melvin has a near death experience... has a Life Review with Jesus and the Heavenly Father......

and is told to use the name "Jesus Christ" over and over and over and over as he descends through the hell... [ or Purgatory] realms.........

Now he was resurrected and is about as on fire for Messiah Yeshua - Jesus as anybody who I have listened to so far......

While the concept of purgatory may raise questions for many, it is deeply connected to the Catholic understanding of salvation, sanctification, and the eternal destiny of the soul. By exploring the biblical foundations, the teachings of the Catechism of the Catholic Church (CCC), and the spiritual significance of purgatory, we can gain a clearer understanding of this important doctrine.

The Nature of Purgatory

Purgatory is not a place in the same way that heaven or hell is described as a place but rather a process or state of purification. The Catechism of the Catholic Church defines purgatory as "the final purification of the elect, which is entirely different from the punishment of the damned." (CCC 1031) In essence, it is the merciful preparation of the soul for heaven, where nothing impure can enter (Revelation 21:27).

The souls in purgatory are those who have died in a state of grace -- meaning they are ultimately destined for heaven-- but who still require purification from the effects of sin. While their sins have been forgiven, there may remain temporal consequences or attachments to sin that need to be cleansed before they can fully enter into the presence of God. Purgatory is thus not a place of punishment or condemnation but one of mercy and hope.

Biblical Foundations of Purgatory

Though the word "purgatory" itself is not explicitly mentioned in the Bible, the doctrine has its roots in Scripture and Tradition. Several passages suggest a process of purification after death:

2 Maccabees 12:46: In this passage from the Old Testament, we read about the practice of praying for the dead. After a battle, Judas Maccabeus offers prayers and sacrifices for the fallen soldiers who had sinned, "that they might be delivered from their sin." This implies that the dead could still benefit from prayers and that purification was possible after death.

1 Corinthians 3:13-15: St. Paul writes about the testing of each person's works through fire: "If anyone's work is burned up, he will suffer loss, though he himself will be saved, but only as through fire." This passage is often interpreted as referring to a process of purification, where the soul is cleansed of lesser sins or attachments after death but before entering heaven.

Matthew 12:32: Jesus mentions that certain sins "will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come," implying that some form of forgiveness or purification can occur after death.

These passages, together with the longstanding tradition of praying for the dead, provide a biblical foundation for the belief in purgatory.

I personally feel that the Roman Catholic idea of a "Purgatory" seems to fit very well with near death experiences that begin with a negative and scary glimpse of some sort of "hell" realm.

Dr. Maurice Rawlings did some research and found out that a high percentage of scary near death experiences may be repressed from our memories.  I believe that all of us from the least to the greatest should take the idea of a judgment after our death very seriously.

We will answer for every idle word that we say or write once we meet our Creator in that Life Review judgment that many near death experiencers report.

The NDE of a Mr. Robert Marshall is especially interesting due to his situation being impossible.

His near death experience is also important because his being told by Jesus that the earth is three point six BILLION years old and that Satan began to fall about seventy million years ago and had fully fallen by sixty five million years ago make a whole new level of unity between Christian Theologians with scientists possible now.

Question:

What is the book 44 Hours In Heaven About?

This is a true story and testimony from a man named Robert, who died three times on May 19th, 2024. He explains how he died by suffocating, drowning in his blood in his lungs, acute hypoxic respiratory failure, and cardiac arrest. The result was his suffering oxygen deprivation to his brain for a total of approximately 90 minutes and about his visits to Heaven each time he died.

Each time he died, he went to Heaven. The 1st time he went to Heaven was for 15 minutes; the 2nd time was for 17 minutes; and the 3rd time was for 43 hours and 28 minutes. In the book 44 Hours in Heaven, he shares what Heaven is like, the conversations he had with Jesus, and what he learned.

The following excerpt from chapter 10 in the book "44 Hours In Heaven" contains what Jesus commanded Robert to do.

Jesus said, "You will worship Me in truth and spirit, and you will do as I command you."

Jesus then told him what He would require him to do, “You will worship Me in Truth and Spirit, and you will do as I command you.”

“In doing so, you will share how and why you were given life again."

“You will share with anybody that I put in your path and will entertain any questions about what I shared and taught you from anybody who asks.”
