hagiography. No seriously, I found this book that was called THE LEDGEND OF THE SAINTS, AN INTRODUCTION TO HAGIOGRAPHY, and it took me a really long time to figure out that hagiography was about biographical writings about the saints. Now if it had been in my pocket Webster....
