Thy Geekdom Come
No. I don't think so. You probably weren't playing it the way we were... We ususally played it normally... but sometimes we'd play it where we just completely made up words. Then we had to say what they meant...
You made up words? You should be ashamed of yourself! From now on, you shall be known as piggleworders! How dare you make up words! kateri05
Yes to your first point, no to your second. A woman needs to more time to become aroused, passionate kidding is a good step in the right direction : foreplay.
thanks cmom... i was gonna say, umm, raph, girls (maybe not all, but definitely lots) like kissing too... a lot
kateri05
And if anyone could, it would be women...silly multi-tasking abilities...
trust me, even WITH our multitasking abilities, truly passionate kisses eliminate all other thoughts. :ahem: well, i assume, since the wedding is in 29 days
Thy Geekdom Come
thanks cmom... i was gonna say, umm, raph, girls (maybe not all, but definitely lots) like kissing too... a lot
Hehe...this topic is funny. I never said that girls didn't. In fact, I said explicitly that they did. It just seemed to me that since men seem to be more involved in the physical aspect of love that they enjoyed kissing more, even if it was just a little bit. I suppose ultimately, we will never know, because no man has ever also been a woman (thank God for it) so I suppose we can't really ever have one person who has experienced both sides to judge. Believe me, I know that girls like kissing. Sorry if I upset any of the girls. I was never trying even slightly to imply that you don't like it. I just can't see how anyone could like it more than men, and I thought the original question pertained to who enjoyed kissing more (perhaps it did, because I see that Zach edited it, and within a proper amount of time that I wouldn't have noticed the edit by the time I posted). I see two options, the women on the board can answer and I will humble accept the general concensus: 1. Men are more geared toward enjoying physical affection more than women (thus they want it more frequently), even if a little bit, and thus enjoy kissing more, even though this does not cut down at all on the desire women have for kissing. 2. Men and women enjoy physical affection with the same amount of desire, but the same amount of physical affection will do a lot more to make women content than men (thus men will need more and want it more frequently), thus men and women enjoy kissing the same, but men, who feel a greater need for frequency of kissing, give the impression by their desire for greater frequency that they love it more. Both I think are possible answers, but only one can be the right answer. In any event, I do think that women enjoy kissing very much and I did not mean at all to imply that they didn't. cmotherofpirl
I'm with shelly here. Literally anything and everything that you do with another attractive person can lead to unchastity. I mean, you can not be so scrupulous as to cut out any emotional affection just because it could lead to sin. Cuddling...you have to know yourself, I think, and of course you have to be careful. But I see nothing wrong with a hug...I'm not even sure how that would be tempting at all if you do it right (by hugging at the shoulders.) Cuddling I am fine with...again, just don't cuddle where you shouldn't cuddle. On the contrary, when I get a nice long hug from somebody (even a guy) the spiritual benefits are great. It's a perfectly chaste form of physically expressing yourself, and it always makes unchastity even more repulsive to me. There should always be a line, and you should pray to God because different people have different turn-ons. You really can't compartmentalize something like this and say that everybody going to be temted by the same things. Somebody I know say that he gets very excited by somebody whispering in his ear. He wouldn't even want his own wife to do that with him because it's such a turn on. Not all people react the same way to cuddling or hugging, or hand holding. One thing does NOT always lead to another--it does sometimes, but to say it always does just ignores the fact that we can have self control as a gift from God. I can give la member of the opposite a really long, die-in-your-arms kind of hug without being turned at all. I mean, I give my own mother the same kind of hugs! So it's not something I relate to sex really. I mean, that is just the way I'm wired. I really like ankle hugs too
Please remember as well that the line of demarcation can change at any moment. Tonight a hug may be chaste, tomorrow night the same hug might be a turn on. Consistancy is boring and should never be expected by either party.
One of the few times I am in completely agreement with Cmom before I ask for further explanation. (I've so far always agreed after I've gotten my further explanation) ...eh, we're all learning and growing... I remember kissing...I could do it one day in a perfectly chaste way and the next day in a completely lustful way. I think the key is discipline and knowing each individual time where the affection needs to stop.
