Passionate Kissing
No one's answered my question yet, though.

It seems that the intent of passionate kissing is arousal, and intentional arousal is meant for leading to sex. My question is, if you passionately kiss, thereby causing arousal, are you then supposed to have sex?
No. I mean it can lead to that but remember that you can stop at any time. Maybe I am wrong but you make it sound like if you are passionatly kissing then it is the norm to have sex. This is not true. Although passionate kissing is dangerous and you shouldn't do it, it does not mean that it needs to always be followed by sex.

God Bless,
Meg

I think he means that its natural function is to prepare two people for sex and that passionate kissing in and of itself, without sex, is essentially an incompleted act.

O.k. but his comment:

May lead some ppl to think, "Well, me and my date are passionatly kissing, so now we have to have sex."

It may make the kissing incomplete but it doesn't mean that you can't stop before it goes even farther......

But I agree that it is dangerous.

ohhh man voici- what are you some kinda child prodigy????

i thought ur like younger then me- how do you know all this stuff?!?!?!

well the main thing illl answer is you know urself and your limits best- what i meant is like certain things turn certain ppl on diff ways then others. so if u know that hugging a girl is gonna really turn u on and cause urself to be unchaist- dont do it- but that doesnt mean that other ppl who can hug a girl and be chaist about it cant do it. thats basically what i meant. as for wanting a girlfreind- thats not like a 100% type thing yet its just seeping in a little bit- hey you know what- if i really like meet someone that is awsome and is like the list i listed b4- then there you go- im not gonna go out with someone though just for the sake of having a girlfreind

Well, actually, I do imply that, and intentionally so. Although, it is more apparent that outside of marriage you wouldn't want to have sex, I think this is a way of demonstrating why you wouldn't want to do anything more. Inside marriage I also think that if a couple passionately kisses, they should have sex, for a few reasons:

1) It's going against the body, a vessel of Transcendent Truth and carrier of a message, language, of God.

2) It goes against the nature of the act, which Aquinas says makes it an evil act.
