inDEED
I agree. But, you never know if the last breath he breathed was him asking the Lord for forgiveness.
Hit the nail on the head...
Krush2k2
God does look at circumstances. If you knew the masure of 2pac's life completly and what he faced you'd probablyy have a different judgement on his heart. 2pac had a HUGE heart in ays never covered in his songs. His houses were missions for homeless people, he started the code foundation which is an annual charity event where celebrities donate thier items for resale value and give all the proceeds to charities and local communities. This is only the tip of the iceberg-he set up his own charity where he supported and got inner city youth together-those who had crack addicted families or fathers in jail and he made a positive environment for them through local camps and such. There is so many good works to his name that he never bragged about or put in the spotlight because he didnt want to think he was doing it for publicity. Even you want to judge his lyrics why dont you go read his poetry book which is entirely cuss free? I belive God had his hands on 2pac, both as a cautionary tale and symbolically as a dual figure. You forget he was shot 5 times, betrayed by his best friend, served 11 months for a crime he didnt commit, and severly brutalized by Police-he even sued the Police Department and won a lawsuit. Not to mention being born into extreme poverty where at high school only owned two sweaters and slept on a lone matress. Not to mention had a mother addicted to crack. To come out of all that, and still convey an OVERALL message of hope and be so giving to the community-I dont see how any one deserves to say he went to Hell. I think if you came from that at age 25 you be filled with a little rage, would you? And perhaps your lifestyle wouldnt be so perfect-but he was spiritual-he had full faith in God-knowing himself he was flawed-But amongst that, he was a great human, a great poet, with a huge heart. MC Just
I've always known that he had good in him, but a lot of his music didnt convey that. He was still misleading and blasphemous. I'm done posting about this...
Guest
very blasphemous and thats sad cuz a person who doesnt know God will so quickly be led astray by listening to that junk..........I started the thread wondering if he was baptized.....only becuz I know that anyone not baptized will not enter Heaven....It would be reassuring to know that he was baptized since he is someone who stays in my prayers......But ya his music is fruitless..........I know you can argue that and say some of it was good...but the problem with that argument is...that it only works for the person who KNOWS God and his church truth.......it doesnt work for the person lost with no faith in Christ or his church...what it does for this person is lead them even furthor astray...........thats my opionon
Guest
and when I say his music is fruitless...im not tryen to sound like a hater but Christ simply told us that good fruit could not be mixed with rotton fruit..... and to the day he died he mixed the two fruits.......so that cancels out all of his fruit and has to be labled rotton......... say he would have repented of his old music and stared doing gospel music.......then his gospel music would have been good fruit becuz it did not bare any rotton fruit with it......but sadly we never got to see that......dont get me wrong, tupac was amazeing.....songs like "i aint mad at'cha" "keep ya head up" "dear momma" "unconditional love" and the list goes on........but as Christ said, you gotta either declare the tree and its fruits "good or rotton" thats what bugs me about kanye.....he falls into that same category........its sad to say...but according to Christ teaching his works are fruitless.......... inDEED
We will never know (in this lifetime) whether or not ANYONE is in heaven...well, except for those that have been canonized by our Church... I think that the more pressing issue is this... Be careful who your role models are. If you look up to someone who leads a life that welcomes sin (in a variety of forms) - EVEN THOUGH he or she may also do some incredible, charitable things - then you are destined to follow the same path... Tupac, along with so many others, may have done some real "good" things for his fellow man that we will never know about...But, I also do know that he advocated drug use, violence, vengeance, sexual promiscuity, etc, etc, etc... I ain't one to judge the man...but don't you think it's better to look up to someone who both serves God through action AND word? My .02 cents... Instead of using all that power and influence to do something positive, he used it to glorify all the negative things in life. I have no clue on if he was baptized or is in heaven, but I would hope so.
J.R.D
baptist or not... blasphomus or not... still i mean hes a legend... we will never know if hes in heaven or not.... but to some he is... some say hes not even dead though... so who knows
