Sit and stand. Kneelers are on the way. Bishop mandated it. The parish isn't happy about it though...

Man, I can't wait to get out of this place.

21-22/23. Im not sure about the mission statement. My church is very old school lol. Its a fairly old building, being rebuilt in 1901 after a fire. The tabernacle is right at the front where you can see it coming in the doors. I love going there because it is so traditional. such beautiful tall ceilings and tall stained glass windows. Lol sorry, dont mean to brag, but i love my church. :P

We have several parishes without kneelers. The parishoners have to kneel on the floor :)

Our parish meets almost all the requirements, and the recently appointed associate pastor is excellent! He's met some ressitance about saying parts of the MAss in Latin and trying to get rid of the EMs. There's a small liberal contingent here (mostly older people actually). I'd like to get rid of the EMs myself! There are tons of children and young people and the future direction of the parish is definately conservative.

Oh, I like this a lot!

I don't think my parish passes the rule on Latin mass parts. I believe ours is mostly in English, except for 'Lord, have mercy. Christ, have mercy. Lord, have mercy.'

I don't know, I think ours measures up pretty well. ^_^

My campus parish meets none of the above requirements. They don't even have a crucifix. They have a glass wall with jesus etched into it and it reflects onto a blank wooden cross thusly "satisfying" the requirement of a crucifix. And it is the only thing even resembling one. Soooooo dislike that parish. I'm getting confirmed there but I go elsewhere for mass.

Me: I dunno, I already ate the most important thing today.
Mom: A chocolate croissant?
Dad: She's talking about communion, dear.
