A paradox are two SEEMINGLY contradictory ideas that are not contradictory at all, however they are either not quickly aprehended, or they point to a Mystery. Such as: Jesus is God and Man. That is a paradox . . . because it is both true that Jesus is God and that Jesus is man. However, it seems like a contradiction because Man is not God and God is not a man.
