Norseman82
(sent to congressman Rahm Emanuel and senators Richard Durbin and Barack Obama): There is pending legislation designed to give federal courts jurisdiction in the Terri Schiavo case. I consider this to be a civil rights matter because I have heard reports on the radio froman eyewitness who was in Mrs. Schiavo's room that she actually spoke. Because of this, she may have the ability to signal her wishes (if only the courts would listen). Please keep in mind that the entire basis for the removal of the feeding tube is hearsay from the estranged husband. I understand that many are concerned about federal encroachment upon state matters, but in previous civil rights matters in the 1950s and 1960s the federal government did in fact act when state governments would not. So, there is ample precedent. Please vote to save Terri. Sincerely, ---------------

Guest Leigh
[FONT=Arial][SIZE=1] It makes me sick that somebody could do this in our country. How did we lose our moral direction? When did we stop fearing God? only God has the right to say when a persons life is to end, and every time we turn our backs on People like Terri we are saying that God has lost that right.
