If there are any questions, please PM me..... here we go: 1. This is a contest for Poetry - No Prose or Lyrics - This time, anyway 2. There is no specific theme, nor format - HOWEVER - remember the forum guidelines, keep it clean and remember there are lots of eyes seeing your stuff. 3. Submissions are due to me either by email or PM by Sunday, May 22nd (if that isn't enough time, we'll extend ... I'm flexible that way) 4. Monday, May 23rd all submissions will be placed in one thread, and numbered -therefore each submission will be anonymous until the end. Using the polling function all Members of Phatmass will be allowed to vote. There will be a 1, 2, and 3 place winner. 5. The prizes are as follows (and this is something I've modified a bit so PM can benefit, and the winner gets something too, and doesn't cost me an arm and two legs): 1st prize - $17.50 Amazon to winner - $7.50 to PM 2nd prize - $10 Amazon to winner - $5 to PM 3rd prize - $5.50 Amazon to winner - $3.50 to PM If the winner so chooses - and this will remain anonymous - PM can have the entire amount - HOWEVER - no one should feel pressured to do this. If you win, you have every right to the amount I've listed. I know there are some peeps out there that would like to get some cool Catholic books, so do not feel obligated to give the entire prize to PM. I know its not much, but HEY - I gotta newborn, I ain't rich! 6. There will be noooooooo comments on the poems. Only votes. If for some reason I feel a submission is questionable in nature - I'll discuss it with you privately before posting it. This is not a critiquing event - just a contest. A fun one. 7. You can't bribe me. 8. I do, however, like cake. 9. And, tacos, so very tasty and good for you,. 10. If I've forgotten anything, please chastise me privately, my fragile ego can't take it.
