Noel's angel
I had no idea where to post this-if someone wants to move it somewhere else, that's okay. The other night I was getting ready for bed when I had this sudden urge to write, so I took out some paper and a pen and this just flowed out of me. It was weird because every time I stopped to think, it was when I made a mistake. Woops, you're gonna have to wait, as my father is home and I have to go make dinner lol

Noel's angel
Ok, so, i'm back from making and eating my dinner (very tasty). Like I said, this just spilled out of me, it was like I had no control of what my hand was doing and when I tried to gain control, it was then that I made mistakes and scribbled them out. Here it goes: Who am I but a servant for Christ? Made in the Lord's image, baptised in His name, I could ask for no more. Undeserving of this grace I am, yet it is only now I realise the grace given to me. I blemished the gifts God gave me. I distorted the portrait of God which lies within me. Like holding a mirror to my soul, I sometimes see no longer the portrait of the Lord within my heart, but a distorted figure. What God has given me is beautiful, but I have made it ugly. How can we say "you are a bad person"? For we are all made by God in His image. Imperfect we may be, but God created us in the image of perfect goodness. We have taken the shine off what he has given us, through our own faults. We have clouded the pure water given to us. We have let the clouds cover the light of Christ within us. But all is not lost. Just as the clouds cover the sun during a storm, they too can be lifted, allowing light to pour over the land, nourishing all living creatures. Although we may have been living in a time of darkness, we can lift our hearts and turn to the Lord. For although the clouds prevent the light of the sun shining on the earth, the sun is always there, casting out light. In the same way, we may have let worldliness cloud over our hearts and souls, but the light of Christ remains strong, shining on us all. God sent the Holy Spirit to the Apostles at Pentecost to dispel their fear. The wind that shook the house symbolises the power of the Spirit and can also be seen as the force which drove away their fear. We must allow the Spirit to drive away the clouds which cover our souls. We can only do this through prayer and repentance. God does not want us to allow our souls to gather dust, distorting our views of Him. Why then do we do this? We allow ourselves to ignore God's love for us and we forget that we were created lovingly by Him, in His image. We should not, therefore, allow imperfect, worldly things distract us from perfect, Godly things, but remember who we are and why we are here-to serve the Lord. We all must take a careful look in our hearts. We must ask ourselves if we can see the true image of who we are, of if we have distorted this image. If this is the case, we must erase all our wrong-doings and repent, turning completely to Christ, Our Saviour. It is then that we will see who we really are, and see the picture of God, imprinted in the hearts of us all. Normally I would get embarassed at posting anything I have written, but this is different. I felt no sense of control over what I was writing. None of this is my creation, I am simply the pen that God chose to write with on this occasion. That's how I feel-disagree with me if you like, but you cannot take this away from me. jezic
sometimes when i feel like that, i imagine it that way. Something dragging me down. Then i pray about it. Usually i find that it is not so much that it is dragging me down but i am not trying to go higher. p.s. as a funny thing, i always ask mary to cut the chain
Noel's angel
yeah. I was feeling it a lot last night, so I just prayed my little heart out. It felt like a very real challenge from Satan and I was scared as heck but guess what..... Satan lost
