Carrie
Everyday I sit here at work, doing what I do best. But around 3:30 my brain starts to wander with thoughts of caffeine and a nap. I can't think of anything else!! Everyday I try to fight these urges to either drink some coffee or fall asleep at my desk. It's pure torture, so... I'm sitting here with a yum cappuccino Do you have a midafternoon lull too?
iggy
Yes, The middle of the day is my best nap time.

Brother Adam
Drink juices instead, or even Gatorade. The sooner you are off caffeine you'll be shocked at how much better you feel.

I was teaching and I would try to curl up on the beanbag chair in the reading corner during recess... I'd wake up with little foam pellets all over... Gal. 5:22,23
I used to go through the same thing. But - if you'll give up sugar and white flour (if you can), you'll find that your energy level remains pretty even throughout the day. Also, if you can get 8 hrs. of sleep each night, that will do wonders.
avalia
Oh my yes... 3:30 - 4:15 my brain shuts down...i need to coffee klatch with the co-workers or I won't survive. And maybe some reeces pieces... Tony
We should have Siestas here like they do in Spain.. sounds like they are onto something
philothea
Having been raised by cats, I fully endorse napping. OTOH, tea will do if a nap isn't possible.
