Noel's angel

I have a question

Why do many Churches in America fly American flags inside them? I don't understand it.

Since my Church isn't in America, I won't post a picture

Here are a couple of the Cathedral of St. Paul........where I had my baccalaureate Mass.

The pics do nothing for the scale of the building.....it seats about 5000.

Does it have to be in America? I'm a little partial to the Oratory of St. Joseph:

and Notre Dame, both of which are in Montreal.

Our diocesean group for WYD 2002 had mass in the Sacred Heart Chapel:

I adore the looks of your parish church. Quite gorgeous. My family hails from Galway City...never been myself but have heard much...they took the name of Gallaway upon coming to the "states".

My church looks kinda protestant. It is pretty, I suppose, and I like it in its own way. But it isn't pretty like a cathedral. I loved St. Patrick's Cathedral in New York. We'll see how the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception goes in a few weeks.
I've never been to the Cathedral of the Annunciation in my diocese, although from pictures it looks beatitiful,
