Oh and republicans don't have all moral things in sync with the Church either. The death penalty is a big one. But repubs generally are on the same page when it comes to embryonic stem cells, abortion, homosexual unions, and euthanasia. While it was highly entertaining, Stewart brought up several good points. Mainly that the focus of Golberg's book was entertainers and that there are people with much more power than actors and rap artists to create or destroy our society. Why must we continue to bad mouth some members of the Democratic party or liberals of any kind? Why not use the energy that waste on bad mouthing and trashing them and pray for them instead. It is a bit hypocritical to criticize people for being to critical. You are implying that some on Phatmass (and we know who because there are only 2-3 on this thread doing this) are acting destructively and in an un-Christian manner because they criticize others rather than praying for them. But you are doing the same thing. 2. You have no way of knowing that these people are NOT praying for those they criticize (since you write "instead of"). You should not assume this nor should you assume the worst intentions in others. 3. Sometimes it is necessary to name evil to its face, especially if it decieves so many. And phatmass is one of the few places that people can express these feelings, because they are so unpopular in the regular world. They are used to being attacked for their views in the real world, there is no need to do so here. I know that they are because I know the people on here and I know that they're all very orthodox and kind people and pray for anyone and everyone at the drop of a hat.
