Both last forever, Zach. One just has to be resurrected.

However, the body shows forth the soul, and considering that, yes...personality, soul, spirit, mind...these should all take a higher place, IMHO.

I know that. I'm not leaving the body out of the equation, but if we are truly called to be living monstrances, then shouldn't we be looking at what's inside and not the pretty gold thing surrounding it?

at the same time, each pretty gold thing is unique.

Yeah I know the person is way more than just thier body, but when you're walking through the mall or around campus you don't just say, "Wow, that chick has got one holy and strong soul." I have a great guy (for a few more days anyway) we just like to see who has the better taste in girls.

I came downstairs one morning to find a locust flying around my kitchen on a very thin leash. Out in the porch a very large beetle was tethered and marching back and forth on the shelf.
My kids wanted me to see them but not hurt them.
Captives were released unharmed, but probably had some interesting tales for their bug relations :
