Let's see...

- I can scratch the nape of my neck from below
- I can make my voice sound like a Chpimunk
- I have panic attacks in the presence of spiders
- I slip in and out of random foreign accents all day
- I listen to electric banjo
- I have a crooked nose

Those are all I can think of right now. There are probably more. :cyclops:

Using the living monstrance analogy, both body and soul are the monstrance. Christ is what they show forth as images of God.

Therefore, what we should look for in seeking one to love is Christ...we all long for Christ, He is the perfect and ideal Person in our minds, whether we know it or not. Any true attraction we have to anyone is an attraction to them in as much as they are an image of Christ, the ideal Who is stamped on all our hearts.

I would say that we look for that, but of course, we must also recognize the place of the monstrance in showing forth Christ...we look to both body and soul (we can't exclude either, and both must be appreciated and loved), as they are the things which show Christ forth.

In my experience...seeing Christ in another and recognizing His presence in them...that is what makes us love them. After that, the monstrance really doesn't matter all that much to us, except that we want it to be better and better, so that it may glorify God all the more...but we love the monstrance no matter what, because God has made it His dwelling.

I used to work fast food, a customer called me a "complete idiot." :shock:

I said, "Thank you sir", he looked confused. I asked him, "Sir how stupid do you think I would have to be, to be an incomplete idiot?" :bugeyes:

I know I'm weird ... let me just think how.

I ride my bike to work, even in winter (brrr).
I like smoking a pipe, and I'm a girl.
I like Gewurztraminer.
I have three tattoos.
I like theology (which may not be so weird here, but in the rest of the world is pretty odd).
I like lawyers.
I have good friends who range in political persuasion from anarchist to libertarian to ultra-conservative Republican and just about every stripe in between.
I enjoy playing role-playing games.

i can do that with my voice only i need helium to do it. panic attacks in the presence of spiders isnt weird - its a phobia. im scared of them too. (i have very good reason to be too thank you) and the foreign accents thing - yeah thats pretty weird.

people who think they are weird are usually the most normal, average people who just want to be interesting. That's what I usually find anyway. I'm quite happy to be plain old me
