Luthien
A friend of mine is wondering if quoting something from a book for school and there being swearing in the quote would be considered her condoning swearing. Here is the quote with the words that are are omitted. "Well, you and me got sense. Them goshdarn Okies got no sense and no feeling. They ain't human. A human being wouldn't live like they do. A human being couldn't stand it to be so dirty and miserable. They ain't a hell of a lot better than gorillas." What do you think?
Pio Nono
JMJ 9/1 - Twenty-second Thursday Luthien, I don't see how that would be condoning swearing. If she starts writing about how awesome it is that they used that word to stick it to the man, then there might be a problem. But just using the quote doesn't present a problem, no. Hope this helps.
