[/size] [/quote] the showers are in 2 forms... there's showers that in the back of a tractor-trailor type-truck (it's made for showers, and there are stalls and stuff in there, then there's the porter-showers (it's about double the size of a porter-potty, but it's a shower and not a toilet. You college-site people have it easy. @ East, there are 2 shower stations for girls (outside, and limit showers at the visitor center) and 1 place for guys (just outside)... so we have like, 50 girls per actual shower (judge by an estimated girl-bathroom ratio), whereas the dorm people probably have a 50 girl per entire bathroom/shower room. But it makes us appreciate our showers a whole lot more being outside : oh, and this past summer, it poured and poured saturday of the conference, so during one of the talks I was at, I noticed the water creating a little stream next to one of hte girls tents, and so I went to check it out, and about 20 girls stuff was in water. They had to be moved to the visitor center. my stuff was safe cuz it was more elevated then theirs, but yeah.... we rough it in New England : oh, and these sleeping tents aren't like, camping tents. they're like, 40 feet high with flaps on the side, and the biggest one probably is home to 500 girls or so Edited November 17, 2006 by got2luvjc Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

HeavenlyCalling Posted November 22, 2006 Share Posted November 22, 2006 I started going to the East Conference two years ago and I LOVE it. The first time I went Sr. Maximilian was there, she was so FUNNY!!
