PadrePioOfPietrelcino
my little 2 year old nephew will just yell out sometimes and go "Praise Jesus" and lift his hands in the air. It's so cute. The rest of my Family isn't Catholic (yet), but I know that kid's gonna be a Saint. homeschoolmom
My two year old's favorite new word is La-lay-loo-la! (which is Alleluia, if you couldn't figure it out)... He especially enjoys shouting it at church, though never during mass... or whenever he sees a crucifix.... He also must think that the word for lion is "Aslan" because whenever he sees one, that's what he says...
beatty07
so my buddy's nephew has locutions or vision or something. His grandma was taking him to Church...his parents don't ...and they passed the statue of Our Lady outside. "who's that?" "That's Mary, Jesus' Mommy!" And Cameron, age five, who three seconds ago didn't even recognize her image, says "she's going to save us in the end." OK I find his formulation theologically problematic (The Protestants would love this one!) but in light of Rev 12 it's not bad for a 5yr old! beatty07
oh yeah...I also know this toddler who was in his playroom pointing to a pile of toys and junk saying "JESUS! JESUS!" and his parents couldn't figure it out...they finally got the question across to the kid, who went closer and pointed specifically at.... ....a white poker chip. sweetpea316
For halloween, my friend's children were a nun (6yr old), a preist (5 yr old) and the Pope (3). They were sooo cute. The "priest" was an exact miniture copy of our associate pastor-- it was freaky.
Too cute! Or (the pastor at my parents' church is friends w/ Fr. Mitch Pacwa and I think he co-hosts a show on EWTN) well, he came(Fr.Pacwa, that is ) and said Mass there. And Dominc calls him Father Taco. He would fit in perfectly here.

I'm laughing and crying inside at the same time The Newman center on campus is holding a poker tournament, and my friends were joking that they'd use hosts (I'm assuming non Consecrated!) for chips. beatty07
Another good one about Cameron, the same kid from the story about the statue of Mary: His grandma had just tucked him in and was leaving the room when he asked "Grandma, are ALL angels really tall?" She explained that they don't have bodies so they could appear lots of different ways. Then she was about to leave again...on her way out she wondered where that came from and asked him "Why?" "oh, nothing, it's just that the angel in the corner is really tall." I swear this kid is the next great mystic.
