for youth group tonight, i'm giving the youth sheets that name 25 simple ways to do good for your community, for strangers, first-aid, and for friends and neighbors. i want to do one for spiritually doing good. so name some! help me out!

-pick up trash/throw your own trash away (NO litterbugs!)
-spend time with the elderly (grandparents count)
-do something your mom/dad normally asks you to do without them asking (i.e., empty dishwasher, take out trash, etc.)
-pray a Rosary for world peace, strangers you don't know, someone you don't like, etc.

umm... am I going in the right direction?

thank you fides! i'm looking for more spiritually orientated ways...like prayer for people for a specific amount of time, take an elderly neighbor to church, etc.

raph, i'm not saying that your suggestion is bad, just maybe to flesh the idea out. but actually i'll flesh the idea out.

invite someone who is unable to attend church on a regular basis to church with your family on sunday

how about doing an intention basket within the group and telling them they can choose to take an intention and pray for it every day for the next week...

umm.....
