If you're looking for a 1962 Missal, I'd recommend buying the one from Baronius Press. It's extremely extensive, beautifully made, and of course...it has an imprimatur given by Bishop Fabian Bruskewitz. :)

You can by it from Baronius's website or from the Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter.

Bishop Bruskewitz is cool.

I wonder how many times he's been mentioned on this site...

Baronius Press looks like they're workin on a complete latin-english breviary. that would be really cool... I don't think one of those has ever even been published!

Extra ecclesiam nulla salus

Roman Catholic Daily Missal

Angelus Press is proud to announce the publication of the first totally re-typeset, Latin-English daily missal for the laity since Vatican II. This is the most complete missal ever produced in the English language. We have included everything and have produced a missal that is affordable while being of the highest durability.

not that the other one is not fine. It has nothing to do with the mass but the angelus missal just has more stuff in it.

Sorry to Confuse

just sounds like advertising propaganda...

besides, it looks like the Baronius one has more iconography... the pages of the angelus one look so plain and boring :P:

Both are excellent missals. I prefer the Angelus Missal to the Baronius. I own (and use) the Fr. Lasance Missal which is also excellent. I few others as well (the Marynoll Missal and the St. Josephs daily missal) but don't care for them all that much. The Baltimore Book of Prayers is also very good, complete with Mass and Mass devotionals. Unfortunately it only contains the propers for Sundays.

Who cares who published it. A good book is a good book.
