In The Arms of The Lord
I was baptized Protestant, but I never went to Church or practiced any kind of faith. I believed in God, but didn't think of Him much, nor did I really know Him. I went through a rough time for a few years, and I had a conversion experience. Shortly after I felt called to the religious life, then realized that He was calling me to the Catholic faith. It has all been a beautiful experience. I look forward to becoming closer to Him everyday on the journey to accomplish His will, which I believe very much is going to lead me to become a Discalced Carmelite Nun. Hulkster
Raised non denominational evangelical Christian. Was received into full communion with the Catholic Church on March 22nd of last year (2008). Wouldn't trade being Catholic for anything in the world. White Knight
My Conversion story in a breif paragraph. At the beginning of my life I was unsure about Christianity, and I had some small ideas and concepts about it, but didn't fully understand the basics until I got older, When I came to the faith at the age of 18 As an Evangelical Protestant, that was my first step into really accepting and believing Christianity, then I thought they were too isolated, and disillusioned. Then as a Non-Deminomational Christian I became alittle bit more closer to the idea that Christianity was and is really the Truth. However I then started my journey of Faith toward becoming a Catholic by doing my research and having some very strong Catholic influeances in my life, I began to study the Truth, and ask some Common Sense questions which really needed to be addressed, however I, like many people had struggles, and I was a "Transitional Christian" A Christian who was no longer calling myself a Protestant, but I couldn't call myself Catholic, evenually though By the Grace of God, and the transformation of my thinking, and heart, I came into the Fullness of the Faith, I came home to the Catholic Church, and became a Convert Catholic Easter Vigil April 7th, 2007, and loved my Faith and Charished the Catholic Church ever since. God Bless All the Cradle Catholics, Converts, and Reverts, who come home to the Faith of the Catholic Church.
