No football today I guess.

Bummer for you! Maybe next year you can finagle a hsthanksgiving invite. :console:

We're watching the Macy's parade right now. Katie's explaining all the floats to us. It's ... a parade.

I bet they were discussing how dreamy I probably was and how great and modest I am to hide that from all the swooning PM girls... :D:

Do you really think so? That would be swell! But I wouldn't want to put her out.

Katie's at the parade? Really?

Right now someone's singing the theme from "Oklahoma!" which is a great song, but a somewhat depressing musical.

Just so you know what you're getting into.

I've marched in too many parades to really enjoy them. I'm only halfway watching this one ... but it's Thanksgiving. The Macy's parade is part of what you do on Thanksgiving, right up there with eating turkey, watching football, and taking a nap on the couch in the afternoon.

Yep, she's the emcee.

I can't really speak for hsmom when it comes to inviting people for hsthanksgiving. I personally would be fine with inviting you, but it's not my house. Or my turkey.

I finagled my way through promises of "I'll think about moving here if you let me come." You'll have to come up with your own carrot, though, since you already live here.
