the_rev
I have a few questions and other tips would be nice so I don't look like an @$$. What i have so far is to always open the door for her, like at the Center, or even the car door, to let her walk through first. Now other questions, after the conclusion of the night, do I walk her to her front door? Other advice, this is my first date ever my brothers and sisters, so I need you help! Thanks! Sojourner
Don't get so nervous about doing everything right that you don't have fun.
Myles Domini
Just be natural and relax. Some girls find nervousness cute to an extent but if you're too nervous you mightn't make the right impression. Just be real, women can smell fakeness (even well intentioned fakeness) and although sometimes it makes them amused (in a good way) that you're trying to make an effort if the girl is that way inclined it can make her suspicious/unimpressed. My advice is just be yourself, show that you're interested in her personality and listen to what she has to say. No woman is exactly the same as another e.g. she might not want you to walk her to her door and not for neccessarily negative reasons, that might just be her way. Different people react differently in different situations. If you dont know how to act take your cue's from her. That is, be attentive to her words and attitude and try and 'call' the situation. Finally, if all else fails: just ask. A polite 'would you like me to walk you to your door?' will do away with any lack of clarity. homeschoolmom
Don't talk about yourself all night. Ask interesting (yet not too deep) questions about her.... pets? hobbies? etc.
Sojourner
I think you should rent a white horse and pick her up for the date on that. You should dress in full armor, too. Nothing says chivalry like a suit of armor and a white horse.
Carrie
I don't know what I'd do if a guy showed up with a horse and in armor.

homeschoolmom
Whatever you do, don't spend a lot of time talking about the big jar of change you've been saving your whole life to buy an engagement ring for your future wife....
Sojourner
Yeah -- future wife talk on the first date is a big no-no.
