you know what's funny?

I live in Texas so I know a lot of conservatives. One of my all time favorite people in the world (my senior english teacher) was/is a conservative. She and I had all kinds of political discussions and still found it very easy to respect each other.

I personally find it kind of sad that the left and right have to name-call and bicker all the time. I'm all for bipartisanship in congress. It's really too bad that so few can say the same...

Yes, this is my long-winded version of "Can't we all just get along?"

But seriously... name-calling gets you no where and if one can't debate the other side without name calling or saying the other side is stupid, it shows a lack of maturity and perhaps an inability to make one's point with valid facts.

Both sides are guilty.

Just sayin'.

haha! But i'm not a liberal... I was when I was a senior, but... now I like to refer to myself as a moderate.
