I dont know if I will update this weekly or whatever like last year.. because of lack of intrest, but I am looking forward to NASCAR and F1 getting under way!

the Rolex 24 hours of Daytona is going on right now, it has some guys from NASCAR in it.. Tony Stewart, Rusrty Wallace, Casey Mears, and some others. Rusty is on a team with Danica Patrick actually , and one other driver. (There is 3 to 4 to a car, and they alternate them now and then )

Kasey Mears teamed up with Indy Car stars Dan Wheldon and Scott Dixon to win the Daytona Prototype class and the overall at the Rolex 24 hours of Daytona.. The Gran Tour class winners were Randy Pobst, Spencer Pumpelly, Ian Baas and Michael Levitas

Just about all the notables competed in the Protype class, but a lot of them had to retire, incluiding the defending champions of Scott Pruett, Luis Diaz, and Max Papis. Rusty wallace, Danica Patrick, Jan Lammers, and Allan McNich also had to retire early

Tony Stewart, Andy Wallace. Butch Leitzinger finished 30th, .. these are just a few of the resuts.. Bobby Labonte was in it.. Kyle Petty teamed up with Boris Said and someone else... bah just look at this

in about a half an hour on TNT is the Bud Shootout from Daytona. 22 cars will race for 70 laps. to be elgible for the race, you must of won a bud pole last season, or have won atleast 1 bud shootout race. No points on the line, just a lot of cash.

tomorrow at noon on NBC is Bud Pole Qualifying for the Daytona 500.

Look out NASCAR, Denny Hamlin wins the bud shootout!.I though Truex was going to be a lock for Rookie of the year, but Hamlin could give him a run.

2. #20 Tony Stewart
3. # 8 Dale Earnhardt Jr.
4. #55 Michael Waltrip

The Dueling 150's were yesterday...

Elliot sadler won race 1, and Jeff Gordon won race 2, but the bigger story is who makes the Daytona 500 and who doesn't.. determined by a forumula involving Owner Points, time trial, and the Dueling 150s

I did not know this until 2 weeks ago.. but Waltrip isn't with DEI anymore.. his car is now #55.. a lot of guys cchanged teams.. you can click through the names to see who is where if you see they have a different car number, or something.. only one who didnt change their car number but did switch teams was Scott Riggs, #10 is now with Evernham... I think this switch costed him a spot in the Daytona 500 though.

It's great to see Bill Elliot back in the Daytona 500.. It looks as him abd Boris Said will be sharing the duties of the #36.

Today is the Craftsmatn TruckRace at 8PM, on SPEED.

the IROC series, pinning drivers from various forms of racing against eachother in dentically prepaired cars is at 6PM, and also on SPEED.(The cars look a lot like stock cars)

Matt Kenseth won the 1st of 4 IROC races this season, this one at Daytona.only 6 of the 12 cars finished the race, and Steve Kinser landed on his roof in a 4 car crash that also involved Tony Stewart, Scott Sharp, and Tedd Musgrave.

2. #06 Sam Hornish (Indy Racing League)
3. #46 Frank Kimmel (ARCA)( a minor league stock car series)
4. #16 Max Papis (Grand American Road Raing)
5. # 8 Martin Truex Jr. (NASCAR Bush series)

Mark Martin bounced back from finishing 12th (Dead last) in the IROC race to win the Crafsman truck race.

the Busch race at Daytona is at 1PM Saturday (Today) on TNT

The Daytona 500 will be 1:30PM on NBC

Tony Stewart takes back to Back wins in the Busch Series opener, at Daytona (It was called the Herhsey Kissables 300 or something this year).KaseyKahne was running good, but a chain reaction wreck took him out. Biffle got into Kyle Busch, who clipped Kahne

Today marks the 5 year Anniversary of the tragic death of Dale Earnhardt Sr. which happened on the final lap of the 2001 Daytona 500.. Continued prayers for him and his family

the biggie is tomorrow! thy will probably drop the green shortly after 2ET.

dispite NASCAR suspending Chad Knaus for the weekend, Jimmie Johnson wins his 1st Daytona 500.

1. #48 Jimmie Johnson
2. #42 Casey Mears
3. #12 Ryan Newman
4. #38 Elliot Sadler
5. #20 Tony Stewart

Stewart had a wild day, he might of returned to his old hot-headed days, as he looked deliberatly wreck Matt Kenseth, which he got penalised for.

He also had run ins with Jimmie Johnson, Jeff Gordon, and Kyle Busch. (all henrick guys.. hmm)
