Catholictothecore
All I know is that the guy driving for Pepsi looked an awful lot like Gordon. I DIDN'T GET TO SEE THE RACE! Ultimate Poker Challenge was on instead, though, so I'm not complaining, really. Was it a good one? They'll be no living with Jimmy Johnson now. Tony
yeah it was pretty good... Tony Stewart sure made it interesting, lol.. he seemed to be mad at just about anyone.. took a couple penalties for it too.. and still finished 5th. I was happy to see Bill Elliot in the Daytona 500 again, even if he finished about 40th.

Catholictothecore
I'm so glad Martin got a new sponsor in AAA! Now, I don't have to close my eyes everytime they show his car! Maybe I'll be a Mark Martin fan from now on.

Tony
for most of the Auto Club 500, I figured it would come down to Greg Biffle and Tony Stewart, but they both blew their engine.. it was Matt Kenseth who took home the checkered flag, and completing a Jack Roush sweep of Fontana. 1. #17 Matt Kenseth 2. #48 Jimmie Josnson 3. #99 Carl Edwards 4. # 9 Kasey Kahne 5. #31 Jeff Burton --------------------------- 42. #16 Greg Biffle 43. #20 Tony Stewart Next week is Busch Series only, from the Road Course in Mexico City,Mexico . Sunday 2PM on Fox I will be back after Lent. . if someone wants to take over for me during then, you are more than welcome too.

Tony
I havn't updated this in a while.. but yes I still race.. just hoping more people besides Cmom and I actually care. Last weekend was very frusterating for me.. 1st the Hungarian Grand Prix.. rain made the race pretty interesting.. there are no rain delays.. just different types of tires were used.. anyway, Fernando alonzo was running 1st.. and then something went wrong with his pit stop.. a tire wasn't fastened right or something.. because he wrekced shortly after his pit. Here I am thinking Michael Schumacher can gain 6 points on Alonzo if he keeps his 3rd place.. then his engine goes on the fritz.. neither driver finishes in points. Jensen Button won. Alonzo is up on Schumacher by 11 with 5 races left.but the momentum is with Schummi. NASCAR. at the Brickyard in Indianapolis.. .. Kahne is running about 9th.. I am thinking " ok I will take a top 10 finish". but then he was involved in a multi-car wreck in the final lap! Now he is out of the top 10 in the points standings for now. He has had miserable luck lately. Jimmie Johnson won that race. NASCAR isn't just for redneck moonshiners anymore.. TWO drivers have dropped out of formula one awaiting their first action in NASCAR. Juan Pablo Montoya, and Vacques Villeneuve. It will be very interesting to see how they due on the oval tracks in stock cars.. world was out that Danica Patrick could jump over from IRL to NASCAR but I hav't heard anything on that in a while. I wonder who is next.. Michael Schumacher? That would shock the world! lol I better shut up before I start an internet rumor that Schumacher is going to NASCAR
