He wants a good Catholic book, he's turning his life around, and he's bringing my mother with. Thanks be to God. Any suggestion.... not to hard reading, but a good book? Ideas? And if he just wants to know the basics...I suggest "Catholicism for Dummies". Despite the title, it is actually very very good and explains things simply and effectively. Depending upon what kind of person he is you can get him anything from 'Love alone is credible' to 'the Dark Night of the Soul'.
