Cool site. It tells me that my house is worth $18,000 more than what I paid for it... and they don't even know about the improvements I made yet. ;)

Adding a dungeon in your basement qualifies as an 'improvement'?

Head's up: Not mozilla friendly...use IE.

Also not even CLOSE to being accurate. It was off by 600% on my place. Of course, it only lists the *tax assessed* value, not what the house is worth.

Still a fun little site.

Ours wasn't accurate either. I liked it's tax assessment, though. But the sale value wouldn't be correct.

Cow of Shame
It seemed to be extremely accurate for my neighborhood.

I guess it's a good test to see how up to date your government is on the value of houses in a certain area.

In my neighborhood, many houses are undergoing rehabs or rebuilds. It's nice that the government isn't accurate.

Right. The value of your home after you moved into the neighborhood. I told you this thing was accurate.

So, hot stuff depresses the tax assessment value of homes? Does he affect entire neighborhoods? How long does he have to live in an area? Does his effect plateau or continue to accumulate?

Are you planning on moving soon? Perhaps you better notify us.

Oh, man, is that thing off for this area. Nearly an order of magnitude off.

I wish I could get those prices!

Hey its my right to have my dodge Dart parked on my front lawn. And as soon as I get a new manifold, I can move it into the garage!
