I know a cluster of parishes in my diocese does a summer camp for junior highers, high schoolers are the counselors, and college kids are the 'youth ministers in training' or YMTs for short. Fie! on your stinky sticky little bodies! And stop drinking all that pop! Having kiddies drop like flies during lineup because of dehydration is really annoying. Sailahína Posted March 21, 2006 Share Posted March 21, 2006 I have gone to a Catholic girls camp here in CO for 5 yrs. This year I'll be to old so I'm going to be a counselor. It doesn't have a website though Its a lot of fun. It's 1 week and we do a lot of camp-like things. lol. The best part is the crazy hair contest! [/color] [right][snapback]916268[/snapback][/right] [/quote] ask people at church and maybe even mention it to your priest. is there a school at your parish? a lot of times the schools (at least mine) will hold "summer fun" fairs and camp reps will come out and set up a booth and you can check them out. usually they have registration packets too so you can get signed up right there. those usually happened beginning to mid april so be looking out for one. if nothing else, i can ask around some.
