IcePrincessKRS
Now THOSE predictions might make the book worth reading. I still think I'll wait another 15 years until they come out with the movie and the kid that plays Harry now is 30. Thats bound to be WAY more interesting. jiyoung
LOTR is a classic...Harry Potter's been wildly successful but Tolkien was a flat-out genius. And he was Catholic (Didn't one of his sons become a priest or something?) Obviously proving LOTR's superiority. I have to say I even thought the LOTR movies were better than the Harry Potter ones. I think, though, that there's this cult of popularity that's been built around Harry Potter because it's new and there's lots of media attention to it. That said, though, I'm really hoping Dumbledore isn't really dead. That phoenix had to have meant something, right...? But I thought about the portrait of him that appeared in the headmaster's office--must mean that he actually is dead. Alas... Oh! I just thought of something--it seems to me that LOTR has more specifically Catholic/overall Christian themes, while Harry Potter...hm. I'm sort of reminded of King Arthur in a way. XIX
ahh, the sweet smell of controversy ....
Dude Harry Potter definitely should have been awarded a penalty kick. He was clearly tackled in the box.
