missionseeker
SN: missionseeker age: 17 St. Irenaeus said it best.
. Since therefore we have such proofs, it is not necessary to seek the truth among others which it is easy to obtain from the Church; since the apostles, like a rich man [depositing his money] in a bank, lodged in her hands most copiously all things pertaining to the truth: so that every man, whosoever will, can draw from her the water of life. Domine ut Videam
SN: Domine ut Videam (Lord that I may see!) Age: 17 Why I am faithful? I am faithful......because well if i don't have God than i don't have anything. And the Catholic Church is the climax of truth, the place where Christ, where God is most present, where i can most encounter Him. And that is what i want. I want fullness of truth, i don't want to be lied to. The media, the government, the general adult population today thinks that teenagers just want a watered down version of everything. They think that we want it easy. But in reality we are searching.....searching for truth...for life.....for CHRIST. All of that is found in the Church and that is why I am faithful. -Yours in Christ Lauren
onlygrace08
onlygrace08 Age: 15 Why I am faithful?: God has given me the wonderful gift of faith. I most definitely don't deserve it but, why would I reject it? The church needs us to be faithful so that together, with the grace of God, we may give glory to God. I was raised protestant early on but, ended up going to a Catholic school. So, I converted to the Catholic faith. However, everything I learned didn't really sink in until I started going to a public school again. Since then, God has continued to teach me and I must say that I still have SOOOOO much to learn!!! God Conquers
God Conquers Age: 24 Why? Because if I had nothing at all in this life and God would grant me one thing I'd want the Eucharist. Also.... I'm a missionary. .... In Canada. And there are 100's of young people in the University and young adults age group coming back to their faith every year. I can personally attest to this. the flutehonker
the flutehonker Age 15 I am faithful because I have been praying for years that God would lead me to the Truth. Jesus revealed himself to me during my first Adoration, and has been showing me ever since that this is truly where I belong. It is difficult, and I struggle each and every day, but hey, having God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit at our side gives me and the church a big advantage

magnificat
SN: Magnificat Age: 23 I am faithful to the Church because I love Jesus and the Church is His Bride. It is the sole deposit of the fullness of Truth. And my love is so great that I wish to consecrate myself solely to God as a religious sister, God willing, in the near future. Tink
Tink Age: 17 Why I'm Faithful: I am faithful to the Catholic Church because I know the Church holds the Truth. I was raised a cradle Catholic but fell away from the faith in my early teen years. Constantly searching, I was all over the place- from atheism to Wicca to Protestantism- and I was never satisfied. Catholicism makes sense and in it I have found the most beautiful Love one can ever experience on earth- the love of the Trinity, Mary, and all the saints. Catholicism is the fullness of Christ, the complete Truth... it abolishes the new myth that nothing means anything and speaks throughout nature and history that Jesus is Lord. In the Church there is a certain affirmation of all the 'magic' in the world, and an affirmation of the logic behind it. I am faithful to the Catholic Church because I have the instiable urge to be a saint at all costs. I am faithful because Christ has given me a thirst that only He can quench, a hunger that only He can feed. The love of the world is surpassed, overwhelmed, and shattered by the Love that I find in the Lord. I am constantly striving to act with love, that I might not be separated from Him.

let_go_let_God
SN: let_go_let_God Age: 20 Why am I faithful? I am faithful because God sent his Son to die for all of our sins. As a sinner, I know that I am not worthy of such love, but all God asks of me is that I return His love. Although I fail, I keep trying knowing that God is always there for me. Also, I don't know as much about my faith as a Catholic and I feel called to learn and grow so much. By refusing to do this, I would be denying God's great gift of intellect. The more I learn about the Catholic church, the more questions I aquire and the more I learn to have faith in all things great and small. God bless- LGLG

franciscanheart
SN: hugheyforlife Age: 19 I am a faithful member of Christ's Church and adhere to all the teachings of the Magisterium. Why? Because the fullness of Truth is within the Church and her teachings. There is nothing more satisfying than living in grace and sharing the love of Christ in His church. As Raphael so eloquently put it: 'we are given a mind to know and a heart to love; what is there to know but truth and what is there to love but beauty, and where is there to find truth and beauty but in God and His creation, revealed to the Church?' We, the young faithful, are still out here! Do not despair in the future of the Holy Mother Church! With Christ's help we are waging war on the evil spirits that prowl the earth and are striving daily to pick up our cross and follow Him where ever He may lead! Tindomiel
sn: Tindomiel age: 16 I owe my foundation in faith to my two wonderful parents who raised me to love the Eucharist and be familiar with Church doctrine. This past year however, I've really "come into my own" as far as the Church is concerned, becoming more interested in the Faith for its own sake rather than merely as something that is a natural part of my family life. I owe this to many factors, including the influence of a vibrant, young, orthodoxly Catholic priest who just arrived at my parish, and my growing acquaintance with a number of passionately Catholic young people around the state.
