mariahLVzJP2
so i just watched last wednesday's episode. i agree that Magni didn't deserve to be in the bottom 3. its too bad Zayra is gone but yeah, she totally doesn't belong with that band. she should be the lead singer of some cool indie rock band. and from that song Supernova sang, Zayra is too cool for that band, so are a few of the others. that song was terrible! so the show is not going to be really exciting for me much. oh well. go Magni & Ryan!! IcePrincessKRS
I know what you mean... last season I wasn't as interested after Jordis left (I liked her so much I even have one of her songs on my myspace page), but there was still Marty who I liked.... If Storm gets the boot any time soon I don't know that I'll be all that interested in watching any more... There's always Magni and Dilana, though... I still like them. I guess its just that once your favorite leaves it changes the dynamic of the show...
Joey1976
Ryan rules!!!!! His original song was better than Supernova's original one. He has to be the favorite now. The band was impressed!!!
Jaime
Last night's performances were really awesome. I really become more impressed with Gilby's attitude every week. His assessments of performances are pretty much on. (Although I'm still not impressed with his guitar work) But I'm also getting more bugged by the contestants. If you have to be told to smash a guitar, you're not ready to smash a guitar. They seem more like lemmings than rockers. Except for Storm. She doesn't take any grief and she's going to do what she wants when she wants. Plus she's got the talent to back it up
IcePrincessKRS
Magni looked so mad last night after Ryan threw his guitar... I think that that was a really cheap stunt on Ryan's part. I have developed alot of respect for Gilby and Jason---Tommy is just a dirty old man with no real intelligent input. Storm and Dilana seem to be the only two who don't have to be told how to perform. I think Storm was right, no one else could have performed "Crying" without totally bombing it, I don't think that Dilana could have pulled it off and she seems to be the favored rocker. Jaime
Remember how Dave ripped on (I can't remember his name) for using a megaphone? He said he's seen it a million times. Well how many more times have we seen rockers smash instruments? And he's demanding it! I love Dave's guitar work. But talk about been there done that! IcePrincessKRS
Yeah, that was Toby. I guess smashing hundreds of dollars worth of equipment is ok, even if its been done a million times. So long as its done with a sufficient ammount of "rage" and "rock and roll". Wasn't it Jill who said "everything has already been done"? And they all so vehemently disagreed with her--you'd think that they would have encouraged something bold and new, not old tricks....

IcePrincessKRS
Doubtful. In any case, Patrice is gone. I missed Toby's performance with the band because I had to run and pick up my sister from work (she can't drive yet) and missed the first 10-15 minutes of the show. Joey1976
Supernova's second original song was worse than the first one and not because of Toby singing it. It was just a bad song. The music sounded very Queens of the Stoneage-ish. It was very weak and so were the lyrics. I can't see a lot of the remaining performers fitting in with this kind of music. I think Ryan and Magni are the best but i don't see Ryan fitting in with their style so much. He is much better than that to be inthis group. There is no doubt Ryan will make it big after this show whether he makes the group or not. I will buy his album just for his original song "back seat" alone. His combining the piano with his music is cool also.
mariahLVzJP2
whoa, Dilana was a bit much maybe she should stop being "honest." Patrice had to go, she sounds the same in every song, she just never changed it up. I missed last night's episode, but i take it Ryan did well
Jaime
I don't think Magni's guitar was even turned on. There is so much he could have done with that song. Toby did a great job. I'll bet that Dilana is going see the bottom three next week and I don't think she's going to react well. And boy oh boy Storm better turn it up a few notches next week!! My predictions for the bottom three next week Dilana Lukas Ryan
