Violent assault on a lady

Last night walking to my brothers' place after mass we saw a man very violently beating a prostitute on a main street. More men were running to the scene, we thought they were going to help her, but they joined in kicking, and beating her. I tried to hurry by with the children to let my brothers deal with it, and call the police. My son who is only 7 wanted to run with my brothers to defend the lady.

You try to shelter your children from seeing violent things, but they are everywhere. Prayers for the lady, we don't know if she survived. Miserere nobis Domine
