fonebone Posted September 22, 2006 Author Share Posted September 22, 2006 (edited) Ok, here's how you play: You type down something (Like normal attack or an element) Then, type down how much HP it took out (You have to try and take out 15 HP to get to level 2 but you can only take out 5 HP with your normal attack) so good luck! Each person has a certain amount of HP (hit points) and in some games, MP. (sometimes mana power or magic power) You take turns fighting, sometimes being able to use special attacks, and magic attacks if you have enough MP. Normal attacks depend on what kind of weapon you have. Your defence is modified with what kind of armor you have. Once your HP hits 0, you die. Or get knocked out. Also you get experience and gold after battles, once you get a certain amount of experience, LEVEL UP. But in some RPGs, though, enemies get to interfere with your attacks. Also there're other games called Action RPGs, you run around a field attacking enemies. And it's pretty much the same as the RPGs other then the battle system. Also in most RPG games you get to go to shops to buy like healing items, or weapons and armor. Note: My avatar is the main character of an RPG game called Chrono Cross, and Fonebone's the same. I can be the shop keeper! And if you by something, It will say: -so and so gold. What would you like?
