StColette
I'm working on my exegesis for Is. 7-11 and using the RSVCE2 and I really need to find a Concordance that is toward the RSVCE. I have a NAB Concordance but my Prof. wants one geared toward our main version we are using. Anyone know where to find one or buy one? God Bless, Jen
Cam42
[quote name='StColette' post='1103142' date='Oct 28 2006, 09:52 AM'] I'm working on my exegesis for Is. 7-11 and using the RSVCE2 and I really need to find a Concordance that is toward the RSVCE. I have looked all over the place and have as yet to find one. This is one of the reasons that I don't use the RSV-CE for scholarly work, there just is not a Concordance for it. I suppose theat you could use the Strong Concordance, but it is RSV and Protestant, but it is probably closer than the NAB. Or just use the NAB. I don't know what else to tell ya. This is the reason that I use the New Oxford RSV for scholarly work, if I am not simply reverting to the Latin. Yes, I am a Catholic geek.
jswranch
Navarre Commentary is RSV/CE 2nd ed. I believe they have an OT. You may be able to view it online.

Could you suggest a good Concordance to use, pwease? Also any other great scholarly sources to use for exegetical work I looked through the Navarre Commentary and it just wasn't in depth enough for what I'm having to do. It was great for the spiritual sense but I need something substantial for the literal sense Edited October 29, 2006 by StColette

You could also use the Oxford Bible Commentary, but it is Protestant, regardless of what the cover says.
