Three killed as car collides with truck

A third person has died following a collision between a car and a truck in Sydney's west, police say.

A sedan carrying five young people hit a truck at 6.50am (AEDT) today at the intersection of Ambrose and Lamb streets, in Glendenning.

The driver of the sedan died at the scene and a female passenger, believed to be in her early 20s, suffered critical head injuries and died shortly afterward at Westmead Hospital.

Another girl, who suffered a heart attack on the way to hospital, died at 11.45am, police said.
