XIX
The Eagles weren't that impressive against the New Jersey Giants in my opinion. The Giants are basically a 6-10 team than has an 8-8 record, although they played one of their better games on wild card weekend. The problem is that the Eagles did things against the Giants that they can not afford to do against the Saints; namely, they had a HORRID first quarter. They can't have a quarter like that in New Orleans and expect to compete. The Giants let them off the hook by wasting great field position three times after taking a 7-0 lead. They do that against NO and they will be trailing by more than 7. Also, the Eagles did to the Giants what teams have been doing the entire second half of the season: drive the ball down their throats when the game was on the line. It was surprisingly easy how the Eagles put themselves into field goal range after New York tied the game and grabbed the momentum. The game is going to be much tougher in Louisiana. The Eagles have been playing well lately, so it should be a good game. Both teams have smart QBs who will not make mistakes, and the Saints are only 10-6. But the Eagles are on the road, against a team with a week of rest, and their defense isn't anything great. That's not a good playoff combo. But heck, it's the NFC. Anything can happen. Saints win 27-24.
Didymus
Saints will dominate this weekend. but for the NFC title, the Bears will crush the saints and send reggie bush to be stuffed and mounted over any given chi-town fireplace. Bears vs. Chargers in the superbowl. Edited January 9, 2007 by Didymus

I'm going through serious football withdrawal here.

Emotion
If the Eagles let the saints score on thier opening drive, like the Giants did, the Saints wont let them score back. Its ganna be a good game no doubt about it, but Saints will run all over them, like tiki did to them, but this time with TWO outstanding Running Backs. GO BUSH!!!!!!!! I do believe the bears will stop SAINTS running but I also believe the SAINTS will be able to get to REX quickly and easily. This is not going to be a blowout for either team... p.s. tiki had his WORST games of the season against the Eagles. All the experts even say that the run D is no longer suspect ever since they went on their 6-0 run Edited January 11, 2007 by zealousrap

Season average was 136.4 yards per. The Eagles are playing well, but they are still struggling against the run. It just doesn't seem that way because of the win streak. I don't think anything could happen this weekend that would truly surprise me though. Any two of these eight teams could feasibly advance to the Super Bowl. XIX
Chi-town will beat Seattle because the Hawks just aren't that good. They were lucky to escape against the Cowboys (at home) and they are just 9-7 in the regular season. That's playing in the weakest division in football (probably). They haven't had a really, really impressive game all year. The Bears will only lose if Rex has one of his...really really bad games. I'm talking QB rating of 10 or lower bad. I have the Ravens going all the way this year. They have the best defense in the league arguably, and they have an experienced QB (McNair had that crazy Super Bowl run, you can't beat experience like that unless you're name is Tom Brady). So naturally I have Baltimore Ravens over the Indy Colts. The only game in which I am thinking of taking the road team to win is San Diego vs New England. Tony
well.... Payton Manning and Tom Brady know what they have to do to beat their opposition... and I think they will both to it this weekend. Both will get at least 2 TD passes, maybe 3. and.. we need some upsets.. Colts over Ravens Pats Over Chargers NFC Saints are playing some very inspiring ball, they shouldn't have much problem with the Eagles Rex will prove his critics wrong and have a big game over the Seahawks.
