Sojourner Posted March 27, 2007 Share Posted March 27, 2007 I had a bunch of really awesome talks with my brother last week when I was staying with him ... he's seriously considering Catholicism (which makes me SO JOYFUL) and I got to share a bunch of stuff about my journey and Catholicism with him last week. In explaining it to him, and in working through how to express things, I find I am struck once again by how beautiful Catholic theology is. It all dovetails so beautifully, weaving this continuous story of God's loving, merciful efforts to draw us to Himself. And it's funny ... I feel like the more often I tell how I came to be Catholic, the less it is about me and the carp I had to go through and the more it is about how beautiful Jesus is.
