Ora et Labora

well, kids are reading Harry Potter nowadays in the public school systems. :rolleyes: that's pretty pointless...only for school though. they could be reading so much stuff that is better!

aaah! that's MY opinion! I argue with all of my friends...they all call it 'genius writing'....then they have issues reading dickens and other good authors...*sigh*....

Or they could learn Latin and read Virgil and St. Augustine and St. Aquinas who are like 50,000,000 times better than any writer who writes in English.

French authors are pretty good too. I love Vern and Hugo and Dumas...course I have to read translations cause I don't know french, but still...

German authors are good! i can read those untranslated...well some of them...goethe is really hard...
