Lil Red
Here is the wikipedia article on the show "Pushing Daisies" what do you guys think about it? i just watched the first episode online, and i thought it was a good show. interesting though, they don't really get into the morality (not yet)? is it moral to 're-animate' someone to find out who killed them just to collect the reward offered? is it moral to then touch them again so they are back to being dead? and if you don't touch them again and someone else dies, is that moral? i'm looking forward to exploring this more. Autumn Dusk
Reward is a monetary sum offered for peace of mind, for knowledge and for truth. If you were psychic then I'd say it wouldn't be horrible to do this, as long as you didn't turn into an extortionist.
kateri05
so, in a fit of boredom (ok, a fit of avoiding grad class work), i sat down to watch this.... BLAH it was really boring. sorry ABC, try again. i'm hoping that the show about the amnesia chick might be slightly funny. as for morality.... its hard since its not a real power, but i don't think the investigating who did it part would be wrong, but the part in which someone else would die who wasn't involved would be. i think. imaginary moral situations are hard to figure out! kateri05
well, maybe i just wasn't paying enough attention (i was doing grading at the time), but voiceovers tend to turn me off. has anyone watched carpoolers? i actually thought that was fun/clever. maybe i should start a thread about it

theaznguy
i like that way they make the show. it reminds me of Edward Scissorhands and arrested development. Both were awesome. it is nice to have a show that is way different that the others. i pretty much started to watch ABC because of Pushing Daisies!! Now I have something to watch on Wednesdays!! (well that and Bionic Woman)

Theologian in Training
Watching it now, very interesting. Kind of have the same feel as "Wonderfalls" one of my favorite shows that failed
Lil Red
i think that bryan fuller was also behind wonderfalls, so it's no wonder that pushing daisies reminds you of the other show.
Theologian in Training
i think that bryan fuller was also behind wonderfalls, so it's no wonder that pushing daisies reminds you of the other show.
Had no idea. Didn't know he did "Dead Like Me" either, I kind of liked that show, definitely not as much as "Wonderfalls" though. This show "Pushing Daisies" kind of reminds me of an "adult version" of a children's story, if that makes sense, like "Lemony Snicket's Series of Unfortunate Events," with the voiceover and explanations. So far though, I am enjoying this, though I have no idea what is going on, seeing as I am watching the third episode, I think, but i am slowly figuring it out.
