LOL their miracle of being incorruptable is there for us to see God's unending love and mercy in those who loved him most...the saints!!! st. bernandette is soo very special! i love looking at her picture. it shows us that this life is not what we live for, but for the next!! to be with JESUS and MARY and ALL THE SAINTS in heaven!!!! :wub: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Her face beneath the picture is wrinkled, with sunken features. This is the reason why the mask was put into place. Nonetheless, and this is what is important to note, despite the wrinkles and sunken features, considering the age of her body, she is still incredibly "well preserved". There are no signs of embalming or environmental preservation. It is for this reason that she is an incorruptible, not because she has such a pretty face.
