Sorry to break the chain of wacky pix... but I was really surprised that you'd never heard of Danny Thomas before... I guess there is no real reason for you to have, but you should know that he was the founder and chief benefactor of St. Jude's Children's Hospital which specializes in very rare and difficult cancer cases. No child is turned away because of lack of funds. It's in Memphis, TN (which is probably why he was there in the photo and why thicke picked that location). In addition to his philanthropic work, Danny Thomas was known as a tv actor, father to actress Marlo Thomas and father-in-law to Phil Donahue... (and you probably don't know who they are either and that's probably for the best!!) and is America's best known Lebanese-American...
