THANK YOU. Seriously. I'll be ordering some more and get them online soon.
Veritas
+ I'm not judging anyone who's posted, because I realize I don't know your situation, but I think it's funny -a lot of people are like "I have no money; I can't donate" and then they drop $5.00 for a latte. The whole "I'm a poor college student" always makes me laugh too, because, 95% of American college students are wealthier than 95% of the world's population, but they just can't give-up that coffee, or cd's, or i-tunes, or new coat, or whatever to give. Again, I'm NOT judging anyone here -I don't know your situation-, but I think of the widow's mite. Can we really not afford $5? And, if we're not giving here, I hope we're giving to our parish -at least 10% off the top and then extra to the organizations we support -like phatmass. Just a couple thoughts from someone who makes a pitiable salary because she works at a parish and Catholic's don't give like the Lord says -so it hits home! Father was presenting the DDD and asked the students to do a 'Starbucks" Pledge: one less starbucks a month for a year comes out to about $60 a year. The students took Father up on this and I think the DDD went really well. Maybe a 'Starbucks/Caribou/Pete's/Coffee Bean' pledge is possible? I'll talk with her. Maybe once our economic stimulus package comes this week, we can give you a cut. [/quote] lol I'm in agreement! As long as there are no more extremely expensive medical costs like there have been the last few months lol

(and to everyone else, the need must be dire for dust (the ultra-handsome) to make an actual topic about it.)
