freddiespagheti
Number one is my mom. She has bipolar disorder and a lot of the problems in my family stem from that. From what from my dad she doesn't put enormous effort into using medicine and more than a few times has taken money from his wallet and forged his checks. In fact, I just saw him hide his wallet. This has been going on for years and my parents have met with our pastor multiple times. I can't do much because I have the feeling if I prod the area too much she'll say things along the lines of me being disrespectful, taking dad's side, not caring, not knowing what its like etc. I honestly don't know what to do so please, pray. My older sister recently had a fight with my mom, but additionally she's been struggling a bit church-wise. My youngest brother is spoiled with a very sensitive temper that shouldn't be in the same house as a bi-polar disorder. I'm planning to go on a mission trip this summer and am trying to raise money for and take care of things like shots etc. I'm uncertain about what I'm doing for college. (I'm about to be a senior in high school.) I'm really hoping to go to a Catholic University and the Catholic University of America stands out a lot but its expensive. I know I could very possibly get a decent amount of scholarship money if I major in music but I don't know if this is right to do since I'm very seriously considering the seminary after college. My dad works a heck of a lot for our family's finances but I worry a lot that things might be a lot better if he prayed rather than worked more. I was also hoping to go to mass almost everyday this summer, but it's not looking so well because I can't yet drive, and my dad won't let me bike to the church because its too dangerous. If one feels overwhelmed upon reading this, a general intention for me would be just as wonderful as naming every single thing. p.s. I think I'm going to post what I said about my mom elsewhere in the hopes of getting some advice/counsel. Thanks, a lot.
