dairygirl4u2c
i remember onea the letters in the bible,,, saying that the anti christ is one who denies that christ came in the flesh. obama's a christian,,, tho admittedly we don't know what his heart is. look up flesh, christ antichrst etc,, and i'm sure you'd find that verse. 1 John 4:3 i think this is it i'm surprised no articles mentioned it,,, etc here yet, but that's usually what you get when you have people just throwing out random claims
peregrinus_WA
Anti-Christ? No. However, there is a Hitlereque air around Obama and that makes him dangerous

the only thing that obama has against him, is that he's born a muslim, and maybe, just maybe, that has some sympathies to the muslims issues in israel etc. any sane person would have sympathies. so really, it's just that he's being born muslim. nothing he had a choice in. also, the list he provides,,, of prophecies or whatever,,, have no source so we don't know where they're suppose to come from. as typical with claims,,, that his mother was white is just a retroactive way to say it meets the white horse thing. there's always ways to ratioanlize a prophecy. and the other claims have no clear connection to obama,,,, or are just unfounded statments (obama will do X. why is is that he'll do X? who knows)
That's hardly the ONLY thing he has against him. This is truly frightening. My in laws are voting for him.
I had been worried about that myself, especially since most of my in laws are likely voting for him too. With his most radical stance on abortion and seeming disdain for any element of traditional Christianity, he at very least seems like an antichrist. A Chicago newspaper had a picture of one of his rallies where an artist literally made a sculpture of him with robes draped over him like Christ. The crowds look hypnotized, they look like they're in a trance. Some people say they will vote for him because he makes them cry, he represents hope and inspiraiton, a spiritual movement. If that's not charisma, which is an antichrist Key Trait, I dunno what is. I think I read additional Biblical prophecies cited that seemed even more specific to the man, and I thought I bookmarked them, but apparently not... Maybe if I find them, we can discuss 'em here & perhaps some of my fears can be put to rest... or not!! dun dun dunnnn. I also remember seeing someone point out a huge amount of Nostradamus prophecies that *really* implicated him, but he wasn't Catholic so I don't know. It's quite amazing how polarizing of a presence he is now, even though he's not even president. Edited August 17, 2008 by lilac_angel
For hunrdreds, and even close to two thousand years there has been too much emphasis placed on who or when the Anti-Christ will come, the anti-christ will come whenever, knowone knows for sure, its like the Second Coming of Christ, stop trying to predict the day and the hour for no one will ever know when it will happen for sure. Just accept the fact that, the Anti-Christ, and the Second Coming of Christ will happen, just let time do its thing, and stop trying to predict who the person is, and when the time will come. I believe in Christ's Second Coming, but I also believe that what he said was true, that no one knows, when its going to happen, but I accept the fact that it is going to happen, and soon. kafka
this is flirting with the absurd. Obama and his situation and rise politics matches none of the descriptions of Antichrist found in Sacred Scripture.
kujo
How is it possible to argue with someone whose position is "how do you know he is NOT the anti-Christ?" I mean, the guy at the bodega near me is pretty popular, seems peaceful and has a Muslim name. How do I know he isn't the anti-Christ?
